Baby squirrel's usually stay with their mother for about 8-10 weeks. A mother squirrel may move her babies to another location in those 8-10 weeks if she feels threatened. If you ever see a mother squirrel with her young hanging from the scuff of his or her neck in the mothers mouth this is totally normal , that is what they may do to move them. If you ever see that please do not chase the poor squirrel for she will drop her young and won't come back for him or her , then that will result in many possible ways of death for the young squirrel.
