When should your daughter start wearing lingerie?

Girls have to start wearing Bras anytime between 10 and 13 - sometimes a little earlier but usually around these ages when they start to develop during puberty. training bras should be worn to begin with and once the girl is used to these then she can start choosing some nice lingerie.

It doesnt have to be sexy to be attractive lingerie - there are some beautiful bra and knicker sets around that are not raunchy or suggestive. I suggest maybe a nice gingham set - or maybe floral, or even plain coloured sets can be nice.

I do not think lace and silk black and red underwear should be worn until at least 15/16 or 15 years old. Black and red can be worn if you have an out fit that needs these colours of underwear - but do not make it lace, buy a plain black set.

By 14 years old your daughter will be buying her own underwear anyway so try to suggest and instill some classy choices before this - make lingerie shopping fun for the two of you and then you will have more of an influence - rather than ignoring the subject and suddenly fining lots of blacl lacy bits and peices in her drawers whre she has had no real guidance.

Make sure she has a proper bra fitting too and repsect her privacy if she does not want you to start prodding and poking her - my mother used to try and do this which drove me crazy. IE shop for underwear with her as if you were a freind - its embarressing enough when you are that age to face the facts your body is changing so just be sensitive.
