4 inches wide, 11 inches long.

11(length) -4(width) = 7

11*2 = 22 (2 long sides)

4*2 = 8 (2 short sides)

total sides = 30

this one is not too difficult to do in your head, but for similar problems you can use a system of equations.

x + 7 = y

2x +2y = 30

(x is width, y is length)

P=2(L+W)=7+W+W=7+2W

2W=30-7=23

W=23/2=11.5 SORRY INCORRECT WORKING OUT THE ABOVE IS CORRECT (sorry about the shouting)
