Where is the bonnet release on a fiat punto P reg and the red handed as fell off?

its a wire cord with a metal ball on the end, its located above the foot pedals under the steering wheel. the red handle should have a hole throught it with a slot, just place the wire and ball through the hole and down the slot to keep it inplace.

If the level is slack, then the bonnet release cable has snapped.

You'll have to jack the car up, and access / pull the cable from underneath.

I jacked up the car, placed it on a stand on the passenger side, and reached up underneath.

I've videoed it - quick to do once you see it.
