What does a virtue mean in the twilight series?

Virtue is a term for virginity . When Edward says it he means he wants to stay a virgin until hes been married to Bella. Because he has coveted and drank blood, and has all he has left of his humanity.

WRONG!!! First of all virtue doesn't mean virginity it means doing good or the goodness of something!

Second of all Edward doesn't want o stay a virgin, no one does, he's not haveing sex with Bella because he knows it's to dangerous!

And third of all he has no humanity left he's not human idiot he's a vampire!
