How does asiatic lion affect or interact other animals?

It is greatly endangered. There are only a few hundred lions left in the wild in India. In 2010, the Gujarat Government reported that there were around 411 lions left in the wild in the forests of Gujarat. The number was in hundreds of thousands around the 1900's and has come down to this number due to extensive hunting.
