Why is matrilineal parallel cousin marriage forbidden in a matrilineal society?

There are two reasons to forbid the matrilineal parallel cousin marriage. First, biological inconveniences may occur because of too close blood. Typical example is prognathism of Habsburg. Second, it does not bring any benefit because the groom does not inherit properties such as land, house, or money according to the system.
