Is there a reason your system can better tolerate percocet than Oxycontin?

That depends on what you mean by "tolerate." There are usually many more milligrams of oxycodone in an Oxy-Contin than in a Percocet because the Percocet dissolves all at once, but the action of the Oxy-Contin is sustained for many more hours.
