Orizaba mountain, also known as Citlaltépetl, is the highest peak in Mexico and the third highest in North America, standing at approximately 5,636 meters (18,491 feet) above sea level. It is a stratovolcano located in the eastern part of the country, straddling the states of Puebla and Veracruz. The mountain is notable for its year-round snowcap and is a popular destination for climbers.
