Mpg on Honda Rebel 2008

I bought a 2008 Rebel a little more than a month ago and have tracked my MPG. In the first 763 miles I have used 9.65 gallons of gasoline for a 79 MPG average. Much of my riding has been on roads at speeds of 35-45 MPH. There are some in town miles and some highway miles too. I am 5'7" and weight 150 lbs. The bike does not have a windshield, saddle bags or any other extras.
