How can a demon enter the body?

according to myths and legeands a demon can enter the body through a hole such as the mouth ,noes, or ears. however it can be summoned to the body as well. but the legeands and myths also say if u have dangly earings hanging from ur ears it cant enter same goes for the muth as long as ur wareing a necklace
