How do you write an apology letter for being absence in class?

You use a formal letter outline. Be sure you spell the teacher's name correctly. Then, just pretend you're talking to them and briefly explain what happened and that you are very sorry to miss class. You might also state that you will be happy to make up any work that you missed if they wish you to do so.
