What does it mean if someone calls you gay and you dont like the same gender?

It could mean several things:

- It could mean they have really crappy gaydar and should probably stop.

- It could mean they're pretty intolerant and trying to put a label they consider "bad" on you. Get new friends in this case.

- It could mean they're really superficial and assume that anyone who's not super butch is gay (i.e. you draw, aren't into sports, etc.) Reconsider how close you want to be to them; their limited view of people shouldn't limit what you like.

- They could be wishing cause they'd think it's cool (or like you; wink wink)

- They might think you are but feel you aren't comfortable with it yet - they might be trying to care. Thank them for the compliment but let them know they got it wrong.

- If it's just some random dudes who you barely know, it means they're idiots. And bigots. Again, stay away from them.
