It really depends on the individual scientist. Some scientist are extremely atheist or agnostic. Others are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or a number of other religions.
An example of this:
Albert Einstein was quoted as saying, "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
Bill Nye was quoted as saying, "You can believe what you want religiously. Religion is one thing, but science, provable science, is something else."
Beliefs on God differ greatly throughout the modern scientific community, even among those in the same areas of study.
