What guided the three wise men to Jesus?

It was not the The North Star.

The Three wise men are from a place east if Jerusalem. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, 2 wise men arrived, and then Jesus traveled north to Nazareth. The Star (Also know as the Star of Bethlehem) that the 3 wise men followed apparently was moving and was only visible to some people and for a short time. This star was probably Sirius Star or some unrecorded supernova or possibly even a comet.
