The book offers a new way of looking at religion, society, and moral theory. The author uses analogies encompassing higher beings or gods only so that the reader can see through the eyes of such a creator or creators to give a new point of view ( thinking outside the box to see the whole picture).there is no inane bashing of Christianity or any other religion in the book. This book encompasses a philosophy not a belief. One should read it with an open mind instead of with objective or biased sentiment. To me the author is a modern day Baruch Spinoza ( a less known philosopher who went aginst the grain in search of truth.) "Philosophy has no end in view, save truth. Faith looks for nothing but obedience and piety." (Baruch Spinoza / 1632-1677 / Theological-Political Treatise / 1670)
