Thomas H. Following the end of Seymour's term as Governor, Charles H. Pond (born April 26, 1781 in Milford, Connecticut; died April 28, 1861 in Milford, Connecticut) became the twenty-second Governor of Connecticut, serving between October 13, 1853 and May 3, 1854.
