Where is the block heater cord on a 2011 Mitsubishi rvr?

I called the dealership and I asked them this question. They told me that Mitsubishi did not supply the vehicle with one, as they felt it did not need it. The dealership said if I purchased the vehicle new they would have installed it for free. However because my vehicle is a 2011 (used) the cost to install one would be 199. After talking with a few people they said you could install a magnetic oil pan heater, or try to find the plug on the vehicle and purchase a block heater cord. I asked Mitsubishi why the salesman didn't disclose this information at the time of purchase, they didn't have an answer for me. They advised me if I had one installed through another company, if anything went wrong, my warranty would be voided on the vehicle.
