Is it ok to let your girlfriend go to a school dance with someone else if her parents won't let her go with you?

It sounds as if you aren't part of the same school she goes too or you could still see her at the dance or even meet her there. You have to ask yourself first why her parents don't want her to even be with you and you know it isn't just the dance they don't want you to take her too. They don't want you dating their daughter! You don't have much say in the matter. If your girlfriend didn't want to go with another guy then she doesn't have too. She can either stay home or go alone. The guy her parents are letting her go with is probably the son of a friend of theres because that's what parents can do in this case. It's obvious her parents and you don't get along. I know going alone to a school dance isn't all that cool, but many girls just go with a girlfriend and think nothing of it. It would be best if you posted again and gave a little more insight into the problem you are having with your girlfriend's parents and why. Tell the truth about yourself and why you think her parents don't care for you and depending on your reasonings there may be a way to win her parents over. That's odd. As long as it's just a friend, I guess there's nothing wrong with that. Why won't they let her go with you? How is she your girlfriend then? Maybe you can talk to the parents and communicate that you really would like to take her. Maybe you need to re-evaluate why they dislike you.

It is okay to let your girlfriend dance with other boys. Its the right thing to do. But it's weird that your girlfriend's parents won't let you dance with her.
