Why do kids want to wear school uniforms?

Some kids believe uniforms are practical: they prevent certain kids from making fun of what you are wearing, and they make everyone equal; there is also some evidence that a uniform can create pride and spirit in a school. But other kids do not want uniforms at all, and they prefer to dress like individuals.
