Can you drink black coffee before a pancreatic ultrasound?

In general black coffee is safe before any procedure,

unless total fluid input is a part of what they're testing.

It's really just water as far as your body is concerned ... unless you're exceptional sensitive to caffeine (I did run across one poor soul who had convulsions after only 4 cups .... but that's rare.)
