What mounts a mirror to a wall?

What kind of mirror? If its a framed one then a nail in a stud will do nicely. Otherwise for those big flat borderless mirrors they are usually either attached using some kind of liquid hardening agent (Liquid Nails for example) or they are carefully placed in edging clips (you see them around the mirrors in dept stores).
