How did avogadros number got its name?

Avogadro's number, approximately (6.022 \times 10^{23}), is named after the Italian scientist Amedeo Avogadro, who, in the early 19th century, proposed that equal volumes of gases at the same temperature and pressure contain an equal number of molecules. Although he did not directly calculate this number, his work laid the foundation for understanding the mole concept and the relationship between mass and the number of particles in a substance.
