How do the Sahara Desert people dress?

The Sahara is a very hot desert area - so you would wear light clothing, but things that help protect you from the Sun. Flowing robes and such are often found on Sahara inhabitants. Light coverage is the key - you don't want hot, heavy stuff like a wool jacket, but you don't want to wander around in a thong and some flip-flops either.
