Being sent somewhere away from home, and separated from your father would be a terrifying prospect; but it is something that you have to consider when reporting abuse to the social services. Do you have another adult you would like to confide in? Do you have somewhere else to go? You will want to consider all of your options before you make that call, because afterwards is may be too late to back out.
