The Dayton Accords were signed by the leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia: Alija Izetbegović, Franjo Tuđman, and Slobodan Milošević, respectively. The accords were negotiated in Dayton, Ohio, and aimed to bring an end to the Bosnian War by establishing a framework for peace and the political structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The agreement was signed on December 14, 1995, in Paris.
