How much does a power dispatcher make?

The rate of pay as a train dispatcher varies greatly. If you're a train dispatcher for a short line, you may make $15-$17 an hour. (I've heard some that pay even less than this)

If you work for a Class I railroad, (BNSF, UP, CSX, Norfolk Southern, CN, CP) the rate of pay is much higher and hourly rate of pay can be $38 or higher.
