What does it mean when a girl calls you buddy?

Calling a guy "mate," "dude," "friend," "buddy,"......these can all be signs that she just wants to be friends. See if she does this with everyone, or just with you. If she calls everyone "mate," it might just be a habit. If she's only doing this you, she's letting you know you are just that - a friend. :(
