Are cctv security cameras easy to install for the do it yourself homeowner?

CCTV security cameras could be installed by a homeowner but it would most likely be a huge headache. You would probably be better off with having someone install them for you. If you are paying that much money for a security camera you could pay a little extra for the installation.
