Are Satanists atheists, or do they believe in a different spiritual or religious ideology?

Satanists do not necessarily identify as atheists. While some Satanists may be atheists who do not believe in a higher power, others may follow a different spiritual or religious ideology that incorporates Satan as a symbol of individualism, rebellion, or personal empowerment.
