How do you correct a misfiring cylinder on a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon?

So I just left an autoparts store and the guy ran a test to tell me why my check engine light was blinking. After doing a little online research i figured it was a misfire or something timing related. Lo and behold it was cylinder 3 (damn you number 3!) that isn't firing properly. I told the guy look I don't have alot of cash, i need to know what the problem is ASAP! He was no longer of any use, so I turn to you...the people of the world wide web, help a brotha out!
