Do people still believe in Eros?

I suppose that in a way, they still do. On days like Valentine's day, there are pictures of Cupid (Eros' Roman equivalent) everywhere, and in love songs there are many references to Cupid as well. It can be somewhat comparable to the belief of Santa Claus- people know that he does not exist, yet continue to acknowledge him.
