Why did FireStar love Spottedleaf?

Yes. In Firestar's Quest, they were to get Skyclan back and the leader that Starclan choose was LeafdApple / Leafstar. It said in the end of Firestars quest that Sandstorm hadkits and named Leafpool after Leafstar and perhaps Spottedleaf as well.
