Are Acts 22 verse 9 and Acts 9 verse 7 a contradiction?

No because they both say different things. Acts 9:7 says "The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone." Acts 22:9 says "My companions saw the light, but they did not hear the voice of him who was speaking to me."

So Acts 9:7 says that Saul's companions heard the sound but didn't see anyone. Acts 22:9 says that Saul's companions saw the light but couldn't hear the voice of whom was speaking to him.

So they both say different things but they don't contradict each other which means the answer is no.
