Can you take NyQuil with tessalon?

Yes. The normal dosing for benzonatate (Tessalon) is 100mg-200mg three times daily, as needed. No more than 600mg per 24 hours. The cough suppressant in Vicks Nyquil (acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, doxylamine and pseudoephedrine), works via a different mechanism. You may take them together. The chance of drowsiness can increase taking both together, so be careful if you must be alert.
