If social services knows that you are concerned for child abuse and hasn't done anything, it's probably because they can't. The laws are very specific as to what constitutes child abuse and what does not. If you feel that your child is in danger, you need to speak with your attorney and discuss going back to court to address the custody issue. You cannot "assume" full custody, or you would be in violation of the original court order. Call your attorney.
