Should illegal immigrants be allowed to become citizens?

I think it just depends who it is if it's some people that went doi g good things I don't think they should be allowed to be citizens, but if it's like a single who mother who just wants her child to have a better future and hasnt even done anything wrong over then over staying, I think those kind of people should be give a chance.
