Where to drain fluid in transfer case on Mercedes ML320?

To drain fluid from the transfer case on a Mercedes ML320, locate the drain plug on the bottom of the transfer case. Use a socket wrench to remove the plug and allow the fluid to completely drain into a suitable container. After draining, replace the drain plug and refill with the appropriate transfer case fluid through the fill plug, which is usually located on the side of the transfer case.
