What is the difference between New Left and the New Right?

The New Left is characterized by a more moderate approach to leftist ideals. The New Left has been created and demostrated by the countries of Latin America. This is a more center-left turn towards leftism. In general, it is not as extreme as the leftist ideals the Soviet Union adopted during the Cold War. The New Left still has programs designed to redistribute wealth, because many of these countries have major inequality in income distribution; however, they also have democratic priciples in selecting their leaders. The New Left was basically born out of rebellion to the U.S.' exploitation of Latin America.

I am unsure what you mean of a New Right though.
