Why was via mad at auggie after the first day of school wonder?

Via was upset with Auggie after the first day of school in "Wonder" because she felt neglected and overlooked due to the attention Auggie was receiving as the new kid. She felt like she was no longer a priority in her family and was struggling to adjust to the changes his presence was bringing into their lives.
