What Hadrian's wall?

Hadrian's Wall was a wall which the Roman emperor Hadrian had built in the north of England to protect the Roman territory from attacks by the Picts of Scotland. It was 117.5 km (73.0 miles) long and run from Wallsend, near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, to somewhere west of Bowness-on-Solway on the Solway Firth,
