Who was the first person to go up the CN tower?

The first person to ascend the CN Tower was Doug Matheson, who made the climb on April 2, 1975, before the tower officially opened to the public. He was part of the construction crew and scaled the tower as part of the final phases of its completion. The CN Tower was inaugurated later that year, on June 26, 1976.
