How do you hook up cat5 to your phone?

I'm not positive, but I think you need what they call a phone filter or a line conditioner. I have one here at the house. It's a small little box (1"x2") with a plug for a cat 5 line on one end and a small cord (called a pigtail) for the phone on the other end. I did a search for it at Amazon, and lots of products came up that looked similar. Have a look at them. You may be better off going to a Radio Shack or similar store and asking for a line/ phone filter or line conditioner and looking at it before you buy it. You will need a cat 5 cord to go from the jack to the filter at the phone.
