Can you have twins on sims 2 pet stories?

I have 'Sims Pet Stories' and on more than one occasion my Sims have had twins. I don't know why it only sometimes happens but with my Sims the parents tend to follow this pattern: 1 baby, 1 baby, twins, 1 baby, triplets.

So to conclude, Yes. It is possible to have twins on Sims.
