Klansmen have stood trial and have been sentenced. a number iof Racial hate Crimes such as the Birmingham Church bombing, which took the lives of innocent children are among these. the Emmet Till homicide also- which was greatly aided by the circulation of a mortuary photo of the victim by (Jet) magazine. Of course nobody bats a thousand and many Klan-related crimes have never been solved, let alone culprits nabbed and prosecuted.
