Why do boys act like they like you when you talk to them but to others they say they say the don't?

Well, I think boys do that because they aren't like girls in ways. They mostly don't like to share their feelings. When they say they don't like you, it doesn't always mean that they really don't. It might mean that they don't want you to know because their afraid of losing dignity, getting hurt feelings, or just afraid that you don't like them. Boys can be very confusing sometimes but if you want you can ask them why they act like they like you, but then say they don't. Or you can say something like you don't mind that they like you, but that you want them to be honest. and friends are just jealous, they do that stuff to bring u down and make u sad, don't listen to them, pay attention to his eyes they will tell everything,
