What does people who live in glass houses should not throw stones mean?

This sounds more difficult than it is. If you live in a glass house ( life of peace which is so fragile ) why would you throw stones ( chaos, negativity, bad attitude, poor life choices, and quite simply having something to hide! ) The hardest life to live is A life of peace in today's world!
