How do sociocultural influences such as the media the family and religion impact personality development behavior and mental processes?

Media affects use daily in the actions we take. Media generally involves: Newspapers, News, Movies, Magazines. Movies contain an explicit amount of sex, drugs and money. People are consumed by such priorities that the re-enact these scenes without even knowing it. Children shouldn't be exposed to such movies. It's not healthy for them to know "how to have sex" or anything by that manner.

Religion also affects behavior processes in the actions taken worldwide. We're currently at war, and religion is what holds and ties the enemy together. Whether it's morally right or wrong to use it as an excuse to commit crimes, it's really something to ponder heavily upon.

If you have a dysfunctional family, chances are you will resemble it by your personality. Whether you like it or not, if you live with a very violent family, you too will be violent; whether you like it or not. It depends all on you whether you want to change for the better good or remain the same.
