Is there a difference between Echinacea and Rudbekkia?

Echinacea includes purple and white varieties. Both are wildflowers and both are easy to grow under similar conditions.

Rudbekkia is actually Black Eyed Susans, they have similar growing habits to that of the Echinacea plant but Rudbekkia can grow much taller. They both flower late spring into to the late fall.
