How did the sugarloaf mountain gets its name?

Sugarloaf Mountain got its name from its resemblance to the traditional shape of a concentrated refined loaf of sugar. The conical shape of the mountain, particularly when viewed from a distance, is said to closely resemble a sugarloaf.
